The morning started off at 08:00 am at the Carpenters Union facilities at 222 Rowntree Dairy Road in Vaughan Ontario. Riding participants began registering if required and then having breakfast provided by Michael Humphries of the Carpenters Union. Great pea-meal bacon sandwiches by the way! Arrowhead Coffee provided coffee to everyone in attendance.

After a safety briefing and general announcements shortly before 10:00 am it was announced that the ride so far had collected over $14,000.00 between registrations and donations.

The ride then departed at 10:00 am to ride to the Peacekeepers Park in Angus Ontario. The weather was clear and not too hot. Was around 17C when riders departed Vaughan.

On arrival at Peacekeepers Park in Angus Ontario the riders walked among the various static displays within the park. After an hour at the Peacekeepers Park the ride then proceeded to the Angus Legion – Branch 499 for a BBQ Lunch.

The food was great, with burgers, hotdogs, different salads and all the fixings.

Congratulations to Renos for Heroes and all involved in raising over $14k to help with renovation and building services to veteran families for men and women who have sustained injuries while serving Canada.
